Lincoln Middle School is excited to welcome our incoming 6th-grade families! If you have a 5th grader preparing for the transition to middle school, we invite you to join us for Lion Lowdown, an informative and engaging evening designed especially for you.

This event is for 5th-grade families and is a great opportunity to learn what life is like at Lincoln — directly from the people who know it best.
A student and teacher panel will share insights about academics, electives, and daily life at LMS, along with helpful information about the transition from elementary to middle school
Counselor Visits at Elementary Schools
Lincoln Middle School counselors will also be visiting 5th-grade classes during the school day to discuss classes and electives on the following dates:
Roosevelt – February 2
Franklin – February 3
McKinley – February 4
Important Reminders for Families & Students
Parents will receive an email with descriptions of the LMS courses.
Students will receive an email containing a link to the Elective Request Google Form.
Elective requests are due by February 9, 2026.
Lincoln Middle School Field Trip
All 5th-grade classes will participate in a field trip to tour Lincoln Middle School on March 17, 2026.
This visit gives students a chance to explore the campus, ask questions, and feel more confident about the transition to 6th grade.
