Roosevelt's Got Talent!
The 2026 Talent Show will be held on Friday, March 13, in the Auditorium. This is always a great time for our kids to showcase their incredible talents and enjoy time with the Roosevelt community.
This is a FREE event sponsored by the PTA. However, you will need tickets to attend. Performers were sent home with 4 tickets each for family and friends, and, due to the large number of performers this year, online tickets will be limited.
There will be two shows. The first one starts at 5 p.m., and the other starts around 7:15 p.m.
***Tickets are valid for only one show, so please be sure to reserve tickets for the correct show.***
As always, we will present each performer with a rose after the show. This year, we have partnered with Viola Floral if you wish to get your student something extra.
You can pre-order flower bouquets for your little superstar, and 20% of the proceeds will go to support Roosevelt students.

Talent Show Live Event
RULES:
- A variety of acts are encouraged — singing (no lip syncing or pre-taped vocals), playing a musical instrument, dancing, performing in a skit, reciting a poem, telling a story, doing magic tricks, performing stand-up comedy, juggling, or any other unique talent!
- All performers must be Roosevelt students.
- All acts must be NO LONGER THAN 2 MINUTES.
- Students may only perform in ONE ACT.
- ALL LYRICS MUST BE APPROPRIATE IN EVERY WAY. This includes any song being sung, performed by an instrumentalist, or danced to. A “clean” version of a song with explicit lyrics is not acceptable — the original song must be appropriate in every way!
- Please come to rehearsal prepared with words memorized and choreography ready to go.
- Accompaniments need to be MP3’s & submitted by email to talentshowroosevelt@gmail.com by 2/27. Please format the subject line with Music_LastnameFirstname.
- The show order will be posted after all rehearsals are completed
PROCEDURES:
- Every person in the act must fill out a permission slip.
- Lyrics must be printed and attached to the permission slip. If you fill it out online, you should email the lyrics to talentshowroosevelt@gmail.com. This includes any song being used in the performance.
- Permissions slips/Act information sheets and Lyrics must be turned in no later than February 25 for anyone to perform at rehearsals.
