Campers, this is it β€” the final week of Roosevelt Reads! πŸŒ²πŸ“š

What an incredible month of stories, adventure, and school spirit. Our students have climbed the reading trail with determination, creativity, and true Trailblazer energy.

As we head toward the finish line, this is the perfect time to log those final reading minutes and share fundraising pages one last time with family and friends. Roosevelt Reads is our school’s biggest fundraiser, supporting everything from classroom supplies and library books to enrichment programs and the community events that make Roosevelt so special. Let’s finish strong, celebrate our amazing readers, and make this final week our best one yet!

Teachers have set classroom reading goals and will be rewarding the kiddos if they reach their goal TOGETHER! Read, read, read!

Reminder that we’re using PledgeStar to make it easy to send out personalized donation links and track donations received. Everyone who registers on PledgeStar and sends the link out to 5 people will be entered to win a family prize pack of 4 Pier Pleasure tickets and 4 Roosevelt beanies…just for sending out the 5 requests!

If you’re feeling competitive, you can also check the PLEDGESTAR LINK to view the leaderboard. Which class and grade will raise the most for our amazing school? It’s too close to tell at the moment!

All prizes, Level 2 and up, are won by reaching fundraising milestones. Please check the prize sheet and help your student reach their fundraising goals. Prizes will be distributed after Spring Break.

The last day to log reading minutes is this Saturday, March 1, and students have until Friday, March 6, to turn in their Packets. Complete the Sponsor Envelope and enclose all cash or check donations, the completed BLUE reading log, and the completed prize sheet (clearly mark which badge you earned!).

Lost your packet? Visit the event webpage https://rooseveltpta.org/readathon/ and scroll all the way to the bottom for pdf links to all enclosed packet materials.

Any questions, please reach out to the event chair, Caroline Mayes. She is happy to help you!! CCMayes@gmail.com
