Our amazing PTA volunteers will be hosting this fall’s Scholastic Book Fair in the auditorium Mon-Fri, Sept 15–19. Students may browse and shop for their favorite books and graphic novels during lunch and recess. Families and caregivers are also invited to visit the fair after school (click for hours) and during Tuesday evening’s Back-to-School Picnic.
While also raising important funds for our school, the Book Fair brings the joy and excitement of reading to our school community. Every visit to the Book Fair helps grow your child’s love of reading!
Be sure to visit the Teacher Wishlist displayed at the fair! Teachers make a list of books they’d like to build out their classroom libraries. This special gift from your family will be treasured and read by students for years to come.
Set up your child's e-wallet
Sign your child up for a Scholastic eWallet: an easy, safe, cashless, digital payment option! Easy to setup, eWallet funds are immediately available for use at both the in-school and virtual Book Fair. Plus, family and friends can contribute too! eWallet setup period 8/14-9/19.

After the Fair, remaining eWallet funds are not returned to a credit card, but, instead, become a gift card balance that can be used online with Scholastic or to fund an eWallet for a future Book Fair. Be sure to sign-in with the same email used to create the eWallet
Dates & Hours:
FRI Sept 12, 8:30am – 3pm
Student Preview Day. Students will be visiting the fair with their classes to preview the fair.
MON Sept 15-FRI Sept 19
Student Shop: 11:30am-1pm during lunch & recess.
TK/K Family Shop: 1:40-2:15
Family Shop: 3-3:45pm
*TK/K may shop after school only (with aftercare group and/or parent/guardian)
TUE Sept 16, 5-7pm

Can’t make it to the fair in-person? Don’t worry. You can shop Scholastic online 9/11-9/24 and earn rewards for Roosevelt! Scholastic will give back 25% in rewards to our school when you shop online at the link below.

Help Wanted!
There’s nothing quite like seeing a child’s eyes light up when they find their next read. This is a BIG event that requires over 100 volunteer shifts to make it happen. Please sign up for a shift (or 3!) to be a cashier, greeter, shopping helper, or setup & takedown helper. We are 100% family volunteer-powered, and events like these don’t happen without our wonderful parent volunteers. All are welcome and appreciated, no experience necessary!
