Dear Roosevelt Elementary Families,
As we approach the final days of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have shared and extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you.
This year has been an unforgettable one, and it simply would not have been possible without your unwavering support, hard work, and dedication. Whether you volunteered at school events, helped with homework, or partnered with our teachers to support your child’s growth, your impact has been felt across our entire community. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a committed and caring community of parents and friends.
On a personal note, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the warm welcome and immense support you have shown me during my first year as your Assistant Principal. Stepping into a new role can be daunting, but your kindness, collaboration, and shared passion for our students’ success made me feel like a part of the Roosevelt family from day one. It has been an absolute honor to serve your children this year.
We are looking forward to a fantastic last week of school! We have a lineup of wonderful activities planned to celebrate all of our students, with a special focus on our fifth-grade graduates.
Our fifth graders have shown tremendous growth, leadership, and resilience. As they prepare to move on to middle school next year, we are excited to give them the send-off they truly deserve. We know they are ready to take on this next big adventure, and we will miss them dearly!
Finally, I want to wish all of our families a safe, happy, and relaxing summer break. I hope the coming months bring plenty of time for rest, fun, and beautiful memories with family and friends.
