Roosevelt students thrive thanks to the combined support of the Roosevelt PTA and the Santa Monica Education Foundation. Donations to both organizations fund the programs, resources, and experiences our students know and love — and gifts of every amount make a difference!
Support Roosevelt PTA
Your Roosevelt PTA donation directly supports our school by funding:
- PE equipment, library books, and Health Office supplies
- Events such as Spirit Assemblies, The Talent Show, Fun Run, and parent education workshops
- Community events including Pier Pleasure, Parents Night Out, Family Dance, and Camping on Campus
- 5th-Grade activities
- Classroom materials and field-trip transportation
- Booster Club programs — and much more!
The suggested PTA donation is $45 per month or $450 per year, per student. Visit rooseveltpta.org to contribute.

Double Your SMEF Impact Through September 4
Thanks to the generosity of Pence Hathorn Silver, the Santa Monica Education Foundation is launching this year’s Annual Fund with a generous $25,000 matching gift. Every donation made now through September 4 will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling its impact!
Education Foundation donations support programs for students throughout Santa Monica, including:
- P.S. ARTS for students in TK–5th grade
- Instructional assistants
- Dance for 4th- and 5th-grade students
- Professional learning in math, science and social-emotional learning
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives
- Middle and high school athletics — and much more!
This year’s campaign goal is $2 million. The suggested Education Foundation donation is $75 per month or $900 per year, per student. Visit smedfoundation.org to give.
